Raymond D. Kyle, 75, of Terre Haute, died at 11:10 p.m. Thursday at the home of his son, Michael T. Kyle of Columbus. He was pronounced dead at Bartholomew County Hospital.
Kyle retired from the Federal Bureau of Prisons after 37 years and was a member of the National Association of Federal Employees.
Funeral service will be at 8:30 a.m. Monday at Patrick J. Ryan Funeral Home in Terre Haute, with mass at 9 a.m. at St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Terre Haute. Calling will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Sunday at Ryan Funeral Home. A prayer service will be conducted at 7:30 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. Burial will be at Calvary Cemetery at Terre Haute.
Kyle was born Dec. 17, 1912, in Terre Haute, the son of Raymond W. and Ellen Hurlay Kyle. He married Lilian I. Baker, who survives. Also surviving are a daughter, Barbara Ann Kigin of Marion, Illinois; three sons, Michael T. Kyle of Columbus, Lawrence R. Kyle of Seminole, Fla., and George G. Kyle of Fullerton, Calif.; 15 grandchildren; and eight greatgrandchildren.
