Suggestion from Larry Kane :
William Sollars-born 1 July 1833 in Vinton County, Ohio. Died 24 September 1927 in Sycamore, Montgomery County, Kansas.
Suggestion from Larry Parker:
William M. Sollars was born 7/1/1833 in Vinton County, Ohio. He died 9/24/1927 in Sycamore, Montgomery County, Kansas.
Note from Pam Wilson : Served in the cavalry during the Civil War. He and his squad were captured while out foraging. He was lucky, as it was near the end of the Civil War when captured and he spent several months in the infamous Andersonville Prison in Georgia where so many died due to starvation, scurvy and weather.
