STEPHENVILLE, TX - Estaleta Venus Robbins, 90, died Sunday, Nov. 2, 2008, at Community Nursing and Rehab Center.

Graveside services at 11 a.m., Nov. 4, 2008, in the Hico Cemetery with Jeff Holland officiating and Rutledge-Jones Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Robbins was born on May 3, 1918, in Hamilton Co., TX. She married Virgil LeRoy Robbins and lived in Stephenville from 1979. Mrs. Robbins enjoyed working in the Stephenville ISD cafeteria for over 11 years and was a member of the Church of Christ. She was preceded in death by her parents, Charlie and Amy Jane Giesecke; two husbands, John Durwood Lane and Virgil Robbins; son, Ronald Robbins; brothers, Chester and sisters, Jewel, Winnie, Florence, Quida, Gracie and Linnie.

Survivors include daughters, Janet Holland and husband Buddy of Dennison, Pamela Bleigh and husband Randy of Denton and Jeri Tigert of Whitehouse; son, John D. Lane and wife, Virginia of Stephenville; daughter-in-law, Debbie Robbins of North Richland Hills; grandchildren, Jeff and Shane Holland, John and Jason Lane, Lonnie and Tonya Stocker, Connie, Tavie, Michelle and Maria Dyer, and Leslie, Lance, Sara and Angie Robbins; 16 great-grandchildren; a great, great-grandchild; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Estaleta Giesecke married first John Durwood Lane.

She married second Virgil LeRoy Robbins in 1957.
