Howard was the son of "Buddy" Houston and "Renee" Keck (buried in Edwards Cemetery). I have only been able to trace our Houston line back to Howard's great grandfather Benjamin Houston and wife Mary Savage from the 1830 census (they are also buried in Taylor Grove Cemetery). It was believed but not yet proven that Benjamin was related in some way to Sam Houston because of family resemblances. Papaw Houston was a farmer, the family was extremely rich in love, kindness and hard work. A legacy to be proud of!


Son Paris T. Houston Born: December 2, 1906 and Died: 2002. Buried in Virginia. Paris lived outside Washington D.C in Virginia and spent most of his career working for the Military and the US Justice Department. From his humble beginnings, his parents were extremely proud of his accomplishments.
