Funeral services were held September 30 in the Koosharem hall for Mrs. Ida Mary Pearson Pernigotti, 55, who died in the Holy Cross hospital in Salt Lake, September 27 of heart trouble and other complications. Bishop E. C. Bagley presided at the services. The ward choir sang three hymns with Mrs. LeCoy Anderson as accompanist. "The Lord Is My Shepherd' was sung as a duet by Mrs. Orson Bagley and Geneta Brown. Ole M. Sorensen sang, "One Fleeting Hour." Speakers were Andrew Anderson, Soren Sorensen and Bishop Bagley. The invocation was by Wm. Brown; the benediction by Charles Erickson. Jas Brindley dedicated the grave, interment being in the Koosharem cemetery. Pallbearers were Owen, Ben and Carl Pernigotti, her sons, Ernel Peterson of Salina, Lamar Rasmussen of Redmond and Sidney Torgersen of Koosharem.
Mrs. Pernigotti was born March 2, 1882 in Minnesota, a daughter of Mrs. Oke Pearson. She moved with the family to Utah in 1888 and settled at Koosharem and lived there until her marriage to Albert Leon Pernigotti in the Salt Lake Temple in 1901. They lived at Eureka a few years and then moved to Salt Lake where Mrs. Pernigotti continued to reside. Her husband and four children preceded her in death. Three sons and two daughters survive: Owen Pernigotti of Koosharem, Ben of Klamath Falls, Oregon, Carl, Hazel and Mabel Pernigotti of Salt Lake. Two brothers, Edward and Carl Pearson of Koosharem survive. Mrs Pernigotti was active in the church as a relief society and a Y.W.M.I.A. president.
