Mrs. Reba Annette Bates Brooks, age 65, of Waco Georgia, passed away, Monday, June 30, 2008.
She was born September 27, 1942 in Paulding County, Georgia daughter of the late, James Pink "J.P." Bates and Katie Elizabeth (Baxter) Bates.
Survivors include her husband, Charles Lawson "Larry" Brooks of Waco, Georgia; two children, Mr. and Mrs. Philip (Debra) Donaldson of Hiram, Georgia and Mr. and Mrs. Mark (Melissa) Steffey of Waco GA; three grandchildren, Ashley Brooks, Cody Donaldson and Elisabeth Steffey; her brother, Mr. and Mrs. Gary Wayne (Charlene) Bates of Villa Rica Georgia; many nieces and nephews.
Besides her parents, James P. and Katie E. Bates, she was preceded in death by her son, Stuart Lee Brooks, in 2003.
A Memorial Service will be held on Thursday, July 3, 2008 at Jeff Eberhart Funeral Home Chapel at 1:00 p.m. with Rev. Danny Patrick and Rev. Donald Voyles officiating.
The family will receive visitors, Wednesday, July 3, 2008 from 6:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m.
