"MACEDONIA - Walter H. Kearney, 82, of Route 1 died at 10:30 p.m. Monday, Dec. 25, 1989, in the Franklin Hospital Skilled Care Unit in Benton.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday in Johnston Funeral Home in Whittington, with entombment in Liberty Cemetery. Visitation will be after 6 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Mr. Kearney was a retired farmer.
He was born May 18, 1907, in Macedonia to Leslie and Belle (Williams) Kearney. He married Nadine Campbell in 1927. She died in 1976.
Survivors include two sons, Kenneth Kearney of Alpha and Bob Kearney of Macedonia; two daughters, Carlene Klein of Allenville and Norma Carlton of Benton; eight grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
Eleven brothers and sisters, and one great-grandchild also preceded him in death.
