Minneapolis—William E. Miller, Jr., 70, 215 W. Ash, died Monday at the Rock City Manor Nursing Home, Minneapolis.

He was a retired jeweler and worked for many years at Vernon Jewelers.

Funeral arrangements will be announced by the Ryan Mortuary, Salina.

The funeral for William E. Miller, Jr., 70, will be at 10:30 a.m. at Ryan Mortuary, the Rev. Frederic W. Litchman officiating. Burial will be in Gypsum Hill Cemetery.

Mr. Miller died Monday at the Rock City Manor Nursing Home, Minneapolis. He was born May 12, 1902, at La Harpe, Ill., and was a Salina area resident since 1949. He was a retired jeweler and former employee of Vernon Jewelers, Salina.

Survivors are the widow, Ella of the home; 2 sons: Edward, Sacramento, Calif., and William, Gladstone, Mo.; a daughter, Mrs. J. J. Rexroot, Popular Bluff, Mo.; and 8 grandchildren.

Friends may call at the mortuary until the service.
