Michelle Lee Hatch age 26,our beloved
daughter,sister,granddaughter,aunt,niece,cousin and friend passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Saturday March 9th,2002 in St.Marks Hospital due to diabetic Complications of 16 years.Michelle was born on September 2nd,1975 to Jay Vedell and Patricia May Neslen Hatch in Cottonwood Hospital in Murray,Utah.Michelle lived in Salt Lake City all her life,graduating from Granite High School in 1993.Michelle attended Salt Lake Community College taking classes in early childhood development.Michelle worked various jobs, including Kinko's and the Joseph Smith Memorial Building.Michelle was a faithful Member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints serving in Young Women's,Primary,and as a Stake Missionary.Michelle loved little children.Her nieces and nephews were the light of her life.Michelle cherished her friends and was a loyal friend to all of them.She loved to read and listen to Church and Country Music.Michelle collected porcelin dolls and loved stuffed animals,especially bears. At the age of 10,Michelle was diagnosed with insulin dependent diabetis.Due to kidney failure because of the diabetis,Michelle recieved a kidney from her 19 year old brother Brent in 1999. Brent always said if he matched her he would be her doner.Michelle and Brent taught us what love and Courage was all about.Michelle is survived by her parents,Jay and Pat Hatch,her brothers and sister and family.Brian and LaVon,and their children,Joshua,Sheridan and TanaLyn Hatch of Kearns,Jeffery and Karen and their children,Emily,Brandon and Ryan Hatch of West Jordan,Brent and Brooke Hatch,Layne Hatch and Laura Hatch all of Salt Lake.Grandparents,Charles and LeVern Neslen Salt Lake,Vedell Hatch,special Aunt Rosetta Hatch both of Orem.Lifelong friends Brandon Marshall and Dara Payne,and many Aunts,Uncles,Cousins,and Friends.Preceeded in death by Grandmother's;Ruby Ipson Hatch,Minnie May Hardy Neslen and Carol Johnson Hatch.Funeral Services were held on Wednesday March 13th,2002,10:00 AM in the Lee Ward located at 3805 South Main Street in Salt Lake where family and friends called one hour prior to services.A visitation was held on Tuesday March 12th,from 6-8 Pm at the Jenkins-Souffe Mortuary,4760 South State Street in Murray,Utah.Burial took place in the Koosharem City Cemetery on Wednesday March 13th,2002 at 4:00PM.The Family would like to thank the Doctors ,Nurses,CNA's,ect at LDS Hospital for their kindness and care of Michelle for the past four years.You are our second Family. We love you..
