He was born on September 8, 1935 in Mound, Louisiana. Don spent his childhood in Loretto, MN, and eventually Littlefork, MN.
He served in the United States Armed Forces.
Don was a longtime employee of the Insulite Division of Boise Cascade and spent the last nine years employed at Northland Tackle.
He was a kind and loving companion and father who loved country and bluegrass music and quiet rides in the country.
He will be remembered by his loving companion; Mary Hubbell of Int'l Falls, son; Scott (Marie) Anderson of Colfax, WI, daughter; Jana (Chris) LeClaire of Rockford, MN., brother; Ray Anderson of Littlefork, sisters; Jeanette Olson of Littlefork, Lee Foyte of Hastings, and Laura (Denis) Foyte of Owatonna, along with many nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
A memorial service for Don will be held on Tuesday, April 13, 2004 at 11:00 am with flag presentation at Green-Larsen Mortuary.
Memorials would be preferred to Koochiching County Hospice, River Oaks Home Health Care, or the American Cancer Society in lieu of flowers.
