TEXICO PIONEER FUNERAL HELD
Funeral services for Mrs. Molly E. Bradley, 96, a resident of a Clovis nursing home, were conducted Saturday, March 9, at Steed Memorial Chapel in Clovis with Elder Kenneth Martin, officiating, assisted by Jebb Randol and Rev. Glen Lethgo. Burial was in the Texico Cemetery.
Mrs. Bradley homesteaded near Texico in 1907 and was a member of the Primitive Baptist Church. She was born Oct. 8, 1877, in Mulberry Gap, Tenn., and lived there until she moved to Texico. She was preceded in death by her husband, John, in 1936. Mrs. Bradley died Thursday, March 7.
Survivors include one son, Clyde of Albuquerque; one daughter, Mrs. Vivian Robinson of Clovis; eight grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
