Fred Anstaett.
Fred ANSTAETT, 89, long-time resident of Osage County, died Monday morning at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Maude Low, 235 Harrison.
A resident of Osage County since 1895, Mr. Anstaett formerly was associated with the Farmers Shipping Association at Lyndon and operated an elevator at Osage City. He also lived on a farm several years.
He and Mrs. Anstaett moved to Topeka last July to make their home with their daughter.
Besides his daughter, he is survived by his wife, Mrs. Mary L. Anstaett, of 235 Harrison; a son, Earl J. Anstaett, of Lyndon; four other daughters, Miss Ethel L. Anstaett, of Kansas City, Mo.; Mrs. Ned Doud of Lyndon; Mrs. E.E. Baker of Osage City, and Mrs. George D. Rogers, of Topeka; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
The funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the McElfresh Funeral Home in Osage City with burial in Lyndon Cemetery.
