Aaron Russell was the son of William Russell b. 1745 VA d. 31 May 1813 Loudoun Co VA and his second wife Edith Smith whom he married on 29 Nov 1790 Loudoun Co VA. They had nine children in the 2nd marriage. Edith (Smith) Russell b. 1762 d. 10 May 1856.( Aaron's father William had first married Ruth Russell with whom he had eight children.)
