Hazel Beverley Gill
(February 28, 1925 - January 22, 2013)

Mrs. Hazel Beverley Gill, 87, of Ware County died Tuesday morning, January 22, 2013, at the Hospice Satilla Hospice House following a brief illness. She was the daughter of the late Levy and Blanche Green Beverley. Mrs. Gill loved the Lord, loved her children and grandchildren. She loved all people in general. Mrs. Gill loved her chocolate candy and vanilla coke floats from Dairy Queen. She was a member of Liberty Freewill Baptist Church.

Along with her parents she was preceded in death by her husband of forty nine years, Archie Stephenson Gill, a son, Jimmy Gill, a granddaughter, Amy Denise Gill, four brothers, Edward Beverley, Buddy Beverley, Royce Eugene Beverley, Lavelle Beverley, and a sister, Mary Corbitt.

Mrs. Gill is survived by three sons, Charles Gill of Waycross, Everett Gill and his wife Nell of Waycross, Royce Gill and his wife Willene of Waycross, three daughters, Patricia Lariscy and her husband Benny of Waycross, Barbara Sumner and her husband Mickey of Waycross, Wanda Russell of Brunswick, seven grandchildren, eighteen great grandchildren, one great great grandchild, three sisters, Mattie Lee Hopkins of Waycross, Lanell Sapp of Blackshear, Janet Mathis of White Springs, Florida, a brother, Robert Beverley and his wife Shirley of Jacksonville, Florida, and numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives.

A funeral service will be held 2 p.m., Friday in the Miles-Odum Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in High Bluff Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends Thursday evening from 6-8 p.m., at the funeral home.
