Mrs. Hester. 80, Dies: Rites Held
Mrs. Bessie A. Hester, 80, widow of Jesse Hester, Paducah Rt. 2, Concord community, died at 9:10 p.m. Saturday at Parkview Convalescent Center.
Mrs. Hester was a member of Milburn Chapel Cumberland Presbyterian Church where funeral services were held today at 1:30 p.m. The Rev. Allie D. Rudolph officiated and burial was in Woodlawn Memorial Gardens.
Mrs. Hester husband died in 1965.
She is survived by two sons, Clarence and Billy Hester, both of Paducah: a daughter, Mrs. J.K. Luton of Paducah: four brothers , M.C., Floyd, Brandon and Elvin Moore, all of Paducah. two sisters, Mrs. Vera Hedden and Mrs. Ocie Walton, both of Paducah; 12 grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Milton Bumpus, Hubert Dilsworth, Bob Ligon, Jack Carroll, Julian Carroll and Lamar Bryant.
