He was self-employed and graduated Union High School 1979. Craig enjoyed baseball, football, and fishing. He was proud of his Cherokee heritage and love for the family centennial homestead. He worked many heartbeats helping to preserve the property along with family until health issues. Craig had a kindred spirit and joyful laugh.
Survived by; father, Lester Cox; mother, Jodie Burden; stepdad, John Matejec; grandmothers, Naoma Barthel and Bobbie Dent; aunts and uncles, Barbara Randazzo, Carmelita and Richard Hurtt, Linda and Bud Stunkard, Ronnie and Becky Dent; great-aunts, Josephine Hutchinson, Dorlynne Young of Scottsdale, AZ; numerous cousins.
