Cliff Harwood, 66, of Sheldon, died Saturday (Nov. 1, 2008) at Provena St. Mary's Hospital. Visitation will be from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday, and from 10 a.m. Wednesday until the 11 a.m. funeral service at Baier Funeral Home in Watseka. Pastor Neil Larimore will officiate.
Burial will be in Iroquois Memorial Park, Watseka. Memorials may be made to the family or to the donor's choice.
Mr. Harwood was a welder and foreman for over 30 years for FMC in Hoopeston. He was born Aug. 4, 1942, in Watseka, the son of Herschel and Margaret Guard Harwood. He enjoyed playing cards, gambling, fishing and gardening.
Surviving are his wife, the former Vickie Brandenburg, whom he married July 7, 1991, in Watseka; one son and daughter-in-law, Jim and Tami Harwood of Milford; one daughter and son-in-law, Janet and Tim Focken of Watseka; one stepdaughter and stepson-in-law, Tamara and Frank Eheart of Lafayette, Ind.; seven grandchildren; one sister and brother-in-law, Lanetta and Michael Spade Sr. of Ashkum; and several nieces and nephews.
Deceased are his parents; one brother, Gene Harwood; one nephew, Ronnie Spade; and one great-nephew, Christopher Price.
