Barry W. Reed Jr., 36, of Climax Springs, Mo., passed away Thursday, Oct. 30, 2008, in an auto accident.
He was born Sept. 7, 1972, in Jacksonville Fla., son of Barry Reed Sr., of Florida and Dorothy (Smith) Parker, of Brunswick, Ga.
Barry was a devoted father to his two children, Chelsea Rene Reed, age 16 and Jake Hunter Reed, age 8.
Barry was a very happy person and always brought sunshine into the room when he arrived. He would go out of his way to help others as much as he could by acts of kindness and love. He provided spiritual uplifting to everyone by his humorist personality.
Barry loved the Ozarks and moved here in the mid 1990's from Atlanta, Ga. He established a family with Donna Baxter and her three sons, Ethan, James and Josh.
He worked for Galva-Foam Marine Industries in Camdenton and co-owner of B & T Tree Services.
His spirit lives on in the lives and memories of his children and family and his body is laid to rest in the ground he loved.
He is survived by his children; his mother, Dorothy Parker; his father Barry Sr.; his wife Diane; one sister, Angela Jean Reed and significant other Donna Baxter and family.
Services will be held at Climax Springs Assembly of God Church in Climax Springs Monday, Nov. 3, 2008, at 10 a.m.
Interment will follow in the Climax Springs Cemetery.
