Husband of the late Edith Wheeler; beloved father of Everett Lacy and Cicemria Wheeler; stepfather of Dwight & Vennon Lacy; son of the late James & Elvira Wheeler; brother of Florence Thompson of Baltimore, MD, Gloria Dobson of Wilm. & Mildred Travis of Martinsville, VA. Also survived by a devoted niece, Vicki Shoffner; 8 step grandchildren; many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Funeral services 12 noon Wed., Mar. 8 at CONGO FUNERAL HOME, 2317 N. Market St., where friends may vied from 10-12 only. Burial in Riverview Cemetery.
