George E. "Browny" Brown Jr., 60, of Compton Towers, 325 E. Fifth St., died Sunday in St. Francis Hospital after an apparent heart attack.
Mr. Brown was a self-employed laborer in the Wilmington area.
He is survived by a sister, Julia J. Duckery of Wilmington. He was never married.
Services will be this morning at 11 at the Congo Funeral Home, 201 N. Gray Ave., where friends may call two hours earlier. Burial will be in Riverview Cemetery.
