He is survived by a sister, Julia J. Duckery of Wilmington. He was never married.
Services will be this morning at 11 at the Congo Funeral Home, 201 N. Gray Ave., where friends may call two hours earlier. Burial will be in Riverview Cemetery.

BROWN - In St. Francis Hospital, on January 11, 1981, George E. Brown, Jr., of Compton Apts., 325 E. Fifth Street, Wilm., Del. Son of the late Rev. George E. Brown, Sr. and Mary Brown. Brother of Julie Duckery, of Wilmington, Del., the late Jeannette Byrd, Calvin L. Brown and Joseph Brown. Also survived by several uncles, 10 nieces, 5 nephews, and host of other relatives and friends. Aged 60 years. Relatives, friends and members of the VFW Post 7582 are invited to attend funeral services at the CONGO FUNERAL HOME, 201 N. Gray Ave., on Wednesday morning, January 14, at 11 o'clock. Interment at Riverview Cemetery immediately following services. Friends may call at CONGO FUNERAL HOME on Wednesday morning, from 9 until 11.
