Carlton Baxter Holland, 88, died Wednesday, October 29, 2008, at home in York. He was the husband of Debra (Diamond) Holland.
He was born in White Hall, Md. on February 7, 1920 to the late Charles William and Martha Jane (Baxter) Holland. Mr. Holland retired from the Pa. Department of Revenue where he was a supervisor in sales and personal income taxes department for over 27 years. Mr. Holland also served in the United States Army where he received the Good Conduct Medal. During his spare time he loved to go on vacations.
In addition to his wife, Mr. Holland leaves to cherish his memory two Daughters, Carolyn Holland and Monica Robinson both of York; three sons, Michael Holland of Harrisburg, Richard Holland and Stephen Holland both of York; four grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and a host of family and friends.
Mr. Holland was preceded in death by three brothers, Charles Robert (Bob) Holland, Willard Holland, and William M. (Jack) Holland and two sisters, Inez Odessa Holland Matthews and Sara Johnson.
Interment will be at Holy Savior Cemetery in York.
