Ferry, died in a Jacksonville hospital at an early hour yesterday morning, after
a short illness.
He was a native of this s--- and had resided at Kings Ferry all his life, being
one of the prosperous farmers of that section. He is survived by five sons:
Newton E, Frederick L, Tynor G, Curtis C and Macklin, all residents of Kings
Ferry; two brothers, John of Evergreen FL and James E Vanzant of Hilliard; one
sister living in South Florida; many grandchildren and other relatives in Kings
Ferry, Funeral services held from the residence on 25 June at 3pm, Rev GE Jobes,
pastor of the Ephesus Baptist church, officiating. Interment in the family plot
in the Brickyard cemetery.

Wayne co GA. He was born in Kings Ferry on 13 July 1854.
