"Mrs. Christine B. Rackers, 65, Loose Creek, died last Sunday (31 Jan 1971) at St. Mary's Hospital in Jefferson City. Mrs. Rackers was born June 3, 1905, the daughter of Frederick and Kunigunda Kielholz Wimmer. She was married August 4, 1925 to Ilde H. Rackers, who survives.
Other survivors include; two sons, Arthur Rackers of the home, and Donald Rackers, Loose Creek; three daughters, Rosella Rackers of the home; Mrs. John Bell of Jefferson City; Mrs. Albert Nilges of Loose Creek; a sister, Mrs. Edward Haslag of Loose Creek and three brothers, Fred Wimmer, William Wimmer and Joseph Wimmer, all of Loose Creek.
Mrs. Rackers was an auxiliary member of the Legion of Mary and the Immaculate Conception Church in Loose Creek.
Funeral services will be held today (Thursday) at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Loose Creek. The Rev. Kevin Gormley will officiate and burial will be in the parish cemetery. Dulle Funeral Home in Jefferson City is in charge of arrangements."
