Mr. Billinger died March 4, 1995, at Park Lane Nursing Home, Scott City. He was born May 20, 1925, in Graham County, the son of John and Catherin Rohieder Billinger, and attended schools in St. Peter.
Mr. Billinger moved to Garden City in 1946 and married Elvira I. Rupp on Sept. 28, 1948. They lived here until 1959 when they moved to Scott City. In 1965 they returned to Garden City where they lived until 1992 when Mr. Billinger moved to Park Lane Nursing Home in Scott City.
Mr. Billinger worked for the Garden City Co-op for 31 years. At the time of his retirement in 1987, he was working as a fieldman for the co-op. He was a member of St. Dominic Catholic Church, fourth degree Knights of Columbus No. 2795, was a former member of the Eagle Lodge, all at Garden City, and was a charter member of the Knights of Columbus in Scott City. He enjoyed fishing, bowling, yard work and gardening.
Survivors are his wife; five sons, Jerome Billinger, McPherson, Donald Billinger, Scott City, Duane Billinger, El Dorado, Gerard Billinger, Topeka, and Benny Billinger, Garden City; three daughters, Cheryl Mouser and Connie Bornwell, both of Garden City, and Cindy Price, Lawrence; two brothers, Edwin, Garden City, and Eugene, Solomon; three sisters Helen Bollig, Aurora, Colo., Albina Ingermanson, Salina, and Lorinda Wilvers, Kimberling City, Mo.; 15 grandchildren and 5 great- grandchildren.
