She was the daughter of John and Vida May (Burris) Holderman. She married Sam Nichols on April 23, 1961 at Durant, Oklahoma. She was a retired nurse and LPN Private Duty nurse in the Tulsa area. She served in the Canadian WACS during World War II. She was a member of the Magic City chapter of the Eastern Star in Tulsa, Oklahoma. She is survived by her children, Donna Lou Beller and husband Jerry of coalgate, OK, Jim Cox and wife Elaine of Coalgate, OK, Gayle Marie Pothoff of Midland, TX, Annette Sue Swindell and Bruce Miller of Coalgate, OK and Alice Kaye Culhane and husband Glenn of Dallas, TX; grandchildren, Lisa Kaye Morgan, Jerry Keith Beller, Bo Don Cox, Rip Pothoff, Jim Pothoff, Crockett Cox, Audra Dawn Swindell, Alishia Gayle Culhane, Micah Swindell, Josh Beller, John Culhane, Jim Culhane and Rick Gutierrez; 16 grandchildren; brothers, Jess Leroy Magness of Coalgate, OK and Dr. Paul David Magness of Texarkana, AR. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband Sam on April 15, 2001.
