GARRISON -- Bernard Grant Butcher, 69, Garrison, died Monday, June 7, 1999, at his home.
He was born May 20, 1930, in Lewis County of West Virginia. He married Betty Wooddell on Oct. 9, 1953, in Oakland, Md. They moved to Wisconsin where he worked on the pipeline. Then they moved to Minnesota where he did construction work at Port Mille Lacs. He also was a semi-truck driver.
Survivors include his wife; two daughters, two sons, 14 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
His parents and a sister, Helen Lively, died earlier.
Services will be 1 p.m. Friday at Shelley Funeral Chapel in Onamia.
Friends may call at Shelley Funeral Chapel from 5-8 p.m. Thursday and one hour before services Friday.
