Ryan was born to Molly and Norman Ellis. His grandparents were Barney and Joan Gill of Gillis, Louisiana and Roy and Lillian Ellis of Jackson, Mississippi. Ryan was born with significant physical and mental challenges. He lived for 26 months and died at home on Jan 22, 1982. His two brothers, Tyler & Jase, and sister, Sunni, were all born after his death, but they were always aware of their older "little" brother. We are thankful to a loving God who gives us the hope that, in the words of Pastor Ronnie Skinner during Ryan's graveside service, "Ryan is running across the Master's marble floors."
