Drew Boyd, 19, died Thursday, Oct. 30, 2008, in Mantachie as the result of an automobile accident. He was born Nov. 30, 1988. He was a graduate of Mantachie High School Class of 2007. He was attending Itawamba Community College in pre-med. He was a member of the Mantachie First Baptist Church. Everyone around him knew of his passion for sports. He never gave up on the MSU Bulldogs. A dearly loved son, brother and father, he will truly be missed.
Services will be at 11 a.m. today at the First Baptist Church of Mantachie with Dr. John Adams and Bro. Chris Burrows officiating. Burial will be in Itawamba Memorial Gardens. McNeece-Morris Funeral

Survivors include his fiancée, Heaven Reese; one daughter, Taryn Boyd; his parents, Randy and Sherry Boyd; one sister, Tara Enlow (Ryan), all of Mantachie; his grandparents, J.T. and Gladys Holland of Tremont; and many cousins, aunts and uncles.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Stansel and Ellen Boyd.
Pallbearers will be Brandon Haley, Daniel Holmes, Corey Jenkins, Blake Walters, John Davidson, Aaron Spearman, Jake Chandler, Joel Farmer, Reggie Bobo and B.K. Long.
