He had lived in Lafayette for several years before moving to Williamsport 49 years ago. He was a machinist at Harrison Steel in Attica for 20 years, retiring in 1970. He served in the U.S. Air Force during World War II. He was an outdoorsman and loved fishing.
Surviving, besides the wife, are: two sons, James C. (Edith) Nash, Attica, Alan E. (Gloria) Nash, Shelbyville; and four grandchildren, Christopher Garner, Vero Beach, Florida, Jason, Molly and Alison Nash, all of Shelbyville. He was preceded in death by his parents, an infant son, seven sisters and two brothers.
Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. Thursday in Fisher Funeral Home, Williamsport, with the Rev. Don A. Williams officiating. Burial was in Highland Cemetery, Williamsport.
