Graveside Services for Mrs. Mildred Etheridge Tollison will be conducted Friday afternoon, Oct. 31, at 1 p.m. at the Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church Cemetery. Mrs. Tollison, age 76, died Tuesday.
Mrs. Tollison was the daughter of the late Martin and Arie Amerson Etheridge and the widow of Marion William Tollison Sr. She was also preceded in death by her son, Michael Tollison; grandson, Justin Coleman. She retired from the Georgia Department of Corrections and was owner and operator of Tollison Upholstery for many years.
Mrs. Tollison was a member of Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church.
She is survived by her daughters, Betty (Jerry) Ranew of Statesboro, Patsy Coleman of Milledgeville, and Sabrina Keating of Vidalia; son, Marion William Tollison Jr. of Milledgeville; sisters, Mary Kirby and Nancy Merren; brothers, Martin Etheridge and Jimmy Etheridge; grandchildren, Rebecca Keating, Jerry (Maude) Ranew II, Stacey (Shanna) Ranew, and Jeremiah (Christine) Coleman; and seven great-grandchildren.
