He was born October 31, 1910 in Salt Lake City to George Frederick Burnett and Madge Peterson Garton. He married Rosella Craig on October 16, 1935 in Tooele, Utah, later solemnized in the Jordan River Temple. He was a manager with Bradshaw Auto Parts for 40 years. He was a generous and giving person, helping many in need.
He is survived by his wife, Rosella, daughters and sons-in-law, Sharon and Frank Hoffmann, Aurora, Colorado; Susan and David Gee, Bennion, Utah, eleven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren, one step brother, Fred Garton, Salt Lake City. Preceded in death by parents, brothers, Lynn and Kieth.
Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, January 17, 1990 at 2:00 p.m. in the Cottonwood 4th Ward Chapel, 2510 East 6710 South. Friends may call at Wasatch Lawn Mortuary, 3401 South Highland Drive on Tuesday evening from 6-8 p.m. and at the Church on Wednesday from 12:45-1:45 p.m.
Interment: Wasatch Lawn Memorial Park.
