Robert H. Harrington, Age 90, of New Castle, DE, resided with his daughter, Denise McCauley, and her family, for the last 16 months before he passed away July 24, 2006.

Born July 30, 1915 in Wilmington, DE, Mr. Harrington worked all his life starting at the age of 12. He worked for the Blue Hen Dairy and before entering WWII, where he was with Combat 508MP, was a detective with the Wilmington police force. Mr. Harrington was a bus driver with DART, retiring in 1981 after 34 years of service.

Robert was preceded in death by his mother, Reba. He is survived by his children, Albert E. Harrington, and his partner, Jason, of Townsend, DE, Connie L. Kendall, and her husband, Jeff, of Jacksonville, FL, Sherry A. Harrington, of Philadelphia, PA, and Denise Maynard-McCauley, and her husband, Brian, of New Castle DE; 6 grandchildren, and 1 great grandchild.
