Houston "Toots" Wilson - ELIZABETHTON
ELIZABETHTON — Houston "Toots" Wilson, 80, Elizabethton, was united with his heavenly Father when he died unexpectedly Friday, October 31, 2008, at Bristol Regional Medical Center following a brief illness.

He was loved and respected by all as he never meet a stranger. He will be most remembered for his love and devotion to his God, his church and his family.

He was a native of Carter County and a son of the late Taylor and Edith VanHuss Wilson. He worked in the Knitting Department of North American Rayon Corporation for 29 years and retired from Watauga Industries. Mr. Wilson was a member and Deacon of Stoney Creek Baptist Church. He served in the United States Air Force.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by three brothers, Taylor, Ruble and Harry.

His most enjoyment in life came from his grandchildren and great grandchildren who will miss and respect him always for his never ending giving and caring. He leaves a legacy to his family of honesty, love and endless commitment to what was near and dear to his heart and he will be missed and loved always.
