Noel Monzingo, age 38 of Jasper, Texas died Thursday October 30, 2008 at Saint Elizabeth Hospital in Beaumont, Texas.

Funeral services will be held on Sunday November 2, 2008 at 2pm at Harvest Church of Jasper.

Burial to follow at Saint John's Cemetery in Many, Louisiana.

Visitation will be held Saturday evening, November 1, 2008 at Forest Oaks Funeral Home in Jasper from 5pm until 7pm.

A native of Jasper he graduated from High School in 1987 and earned his Associate's Degree from Commonwealth College in 1989. Noel was a member of Harvest Church in Jasper and a childhood member of St. Michael's Catholic Church.

He was a avid fisherman and cattleman with a great love for the outdoors and nature. Noel was a master jeweler at Gold Etc. in Jasper for the past 15 years, where he worked with his family. He often volunteered his time in the community coaching soccer and working with the Emergency Corp.

He is preceded in death by his father Noel N. Monzingo who is buried at Chireno, near Nacogdoches, Texas.

Survivors include his mother Gloria Monzingo of Jasper, his daughter Payton Monzingo of Newton, a sister Kim Huber of Beaumont, Texas, his grandmother Jo Maddox of Jasper, a special Aunt and Uncle Amos and Aunt Phyllis Smith of Jasper.

Upon his sudden death, he gave life to several people by way of organ donation. His generous gift helped to perform miracles in Texas and surrounding states to otherwise hopeless patients.
