Norma Sue Cherry, 56, of Deport died Tuesday, Jan. 2, 2001, at her home.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Friday, Jan. 5, in Life Tabernacle Church of Cunningham with the Rev. Freddy Burden officiating. Burial will be in Restland Cemetery by Wood Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
Mrs. Cherry was born Jan. 21, 1944, in Burnett to Grean Leaf and Lucille Reynolds Faubion.
She married John Cherry Jan. 19, 1966, in Dallas.
She was manager of T's Mart Truck Stop in Paris.
Surviving are her husband; her children, Letris Stewart and husband David of Irving, Juanita Barton and husband Leon of Irving, Walter Y. Woolard and wife Sabrina of Sunset, Lawanda Cherry of Deport, and Regina Miller and husband Bobby of Deport; a brother, Gary Faubion of Irving; eight grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a son, Gary Owens, in 1982, and by her parents.
Pallbearers will be Leon Barton, David Stewart, Bobby Miller, Mark Spray, Benny Spray, Tommy Spray, Tommy Spray, Rick Spray and Marshall Wheatley.
