Funeral services were held Monday 11 Nov 1985, at Life Tabernacle Church in Cunningham with the Rev. and Mrs. Don Whitt officiating. Burial was in Cunningham Cemetery under the direction of Grant Funeral Home.
Mr. Archibald was born 8 Oct 1928, in Fulbright, a son of Leonard F. and Lula Hunt Archibald.
He married Rita Allen 23 Jan 1974, in Paris.
Surviving are his wife; his step-mother, Mrs. Frankie Archibald of Cunningham; one son, Robert Archibald of Cunningham; five daughters, Sherry Evans of Brookston, Kathy Rogers of DeSoto, Mo., Darleen Haverkorn of Fort Worth, Jaree Barsher of Garland, Teri Brasher of Garland and Brandy Archibald of Cunningham; one brother, Bill Archibald of Cunningham; two sisters, Maydell DeVincentis of Colorado and Betty Richardson of Saginaw; and 10 grandchildren.
