Georgia Ann Hill was born July 1, 1872 in Winston County, Alabama to Robert Alexander Hill and Sarah Margaret Lane, one of 7 children. Most of her brothers and sisters remained in Alabama. She was 16 when she married Johnson Davis [not David] Kiker on Jan 31, 1886. Their first child, Vernon Lee Kiker, was born about a year and a half later, followed by Earl, Malcolm, Clarence, Lois, Hubert (Buster or Bud) and James. All but James were born in Alabama. In 1909 the Kiker family moved to Shawnee County, Oklahoma and the next year to Wewoka, where the youngest son, James, was born. Georgia died February 25, 1959 and is buried beside her husband in Oakwood Cemetery.
