Della Bright
Della Bright, 97, of Rushville died Saturday, Feb. 16, 2008, at Odd Fellow & Rebekah Home in Greensburg.
Born May 8, 1910, in Campbellsville, Ky., she was the daughter of William and Mona (Brockman) Newton.
She married Clifford Bright on July 13, 1927, and he preceded her in death on March 29, 1992.
Survivors include her son, Donald L. (wife, Patty) Bright of Rushville; daughter, Virginia Wesling of Rushville; brother, Delbert Newton of Louisville, Ky.; sister, Dorothy Brockman of Louisville; four grandchildren; one stepgrandson; nine great-grandchildren; and three stepgreat-grandchildren.
She also was preceded in death by her parents, five brothers, two sisters and one great-grandson.
Mrs. Bright had been employed at Cinch Manufacturing Co. from 1952 to 1975.
She was a member of Arlington Christian Church for more than 60 years.
Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Wednesday at Moster Mortuary, 334 N. Main St. in Rushville.
Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home, with Fred Hickman officiating.
Burial will be in Arlington East Hill Cemetery in Arlington.
