GRANT TEMPLETON--73: died this morning [Saturday] at the home of his son, William E Templeton-Transfer. He had been in failing health for some time with a heart ailment.
He was born 11 Sep 1866 in W.SalemTwp, a son of John & Sarah Bates Templeton; but had spent the greater part of his lifetime in Pyma-tuningTwp, where he was engaged in farming. For the past 19 years MrTempleton operated a general store at Transfer; which he sold a few weeks ago.
Surviving are his wife: Malinda Brown Temple-ton; children: MrsHE Cullen-Shenango; William Templeton-Transfer & DrPaul Templeton-Ben Avon PA & 11 grandchildren. A son-Chester died on 21 Oct 1924.
The body has been removed to Loutzenhiser funeral home where services will be Monday [10-23]. The body will be cremated & the ashes placed in the Shenango Valley Cem.
