On November 16, 1937 he married Veronica Winkel at SS Peter & Paul Catholic Church, Kiel.
Veronica preceded him in death on February 9, 1998.
He is survived by his three children, David (Emilie) Mahloch, Plymouth, Carol (Jerry) Truttschel, rural Kiel, Donna (Roger) Schwarz, rural New Holstein, twelve grandchildren, twenty three great grandchildren and four step great grandchildren. He is further survived by one sister, Elsie Lemke, Chilton, one sister-in-law, Esther Mahloch, Sheboygan Falls.
He was preceded in death by one daughter, Sandra Mahloch, three sisters, Roma Mahloch, Agnes Garbe, Clara Schweitzer, four brothers, Roland, Walter, Herbert & Hubert Mahloch and sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Emro Lemke, Henry & Albertine Winkel, Raymond & Ludwina Zorn, Paul Garbe, Robert Schweitzer and Rita Mahloch.
Burial in SS Peter & Paul Catholic cemetery, Kiel.
