Died, at 5 o'clock Wednesday morning, February 26, 1908, at the family residence, South Fifth street, Mrs. Harriet Bethel Chaffee, aged 63 years, 9 months and 28 days. The funeral will be held this afternoon at the residence. Interment will be made in Oak Ridge cemetery. Decedent was born in Kentucky in 1845 but had lived in this state nearly all her life. She is survived by her husband, L. A. Chaffee; one son, L. L. Chaffee, and two daughters, Miss Mary Chaffee of this city and Mrs. George Griswold Hill of Washington, D. C.
