SCOTT — Paul A. Redlinger, 89, of Scott died at 6:15 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 14, 2004, at Hawthorn Court, Paulding.

He was born Jan. 1, 1915, in Convoy, the son of the late John Samuel and Cora (Denig) Redlinger. On June 19, 1937, he married Lela Evelyn Youtsey, who preceded him in death on Aug. 27, 1986.

Survivors include a sister, Mary Mills of Belleville, Mich., several nieces and nephews and a friend, Helen Pastor of Latty.

He was preceded in death by an infant daughter, two brothers, Harry Lewis Redlinger and John Robert Redlinger, and a sister, Agnes Greulach.

Mr. Redlinger retired from Federal Mogul in Van Wert as a laborer after 43 years of service.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday at Cowan & Son Funeral Home, Van Wert, the Rev. Rob Ratliff officiating. Burial will be in IOOF Cemetery, Convoy.

Calling hours are 4-8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
