Alvin E. Baxter died Sunday morning at his late home, six and one half miles south of Payne, or Brights disease, aged 39 years. He leaves to mourn his loss a wife and six children. Mr. Baxter was a member of the Dealy Church. He was a progressive farmer, good neighbor, and kind friend who will be missed by all. The funeral services were held Tuesday morning at the residence and the church. Interment was made in I. O. O. F. Cemetery at Convoy, the remains being in charge of undertaker Croy of this place.
