WILLIE BRYAN JONES SR
Willie Bryan Jones Sr., 60 year old heater at Ingalls Shipyard in Pascagoula, died suddenly Tuesday morning from a heart attack at his residence, 420 Frederic St., Pascagoula.
He was a native of Magee, Miss., and had resided in Pascagoula for six years. He was a veteran of World War I and a member of the Baptist Church.
Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Willie B. Jones, (Ina Jane Hemby Jones); three daughters, Misses Marie Jones and Leila Mae Jones, both of Pascagoula, and Mrs. E C Strange (Catherine Lee Jones Strange), of New York City; two sons, Marshall H Jones of Mobile and Willie B Jones Jr. of Pascagoula; two sisters, Mrs. Ramsey Hemby of Magee and Mrs. G. J. Walker of New Orleans; two brothers, J. M. Jones of Mendenhall, and Ed Jones of Magee, and three grandchildren and various other relatives.
The body was taken from Fails Funeral Home Tuesday afternoon to Mimms-Mitchell Funeral Home in Magee. Funeral services were held at 10 a.m. today at Good Water Baptist church. Interment was in the Good Water Cemetery with the Rev. M. S. Varnado, pastor of the Calvary Baptist Church of Pascagoula, officiating, assisted by the Rev. Wilburn Hemby
