Geeorge Timothy Cummings was the son of Charles and Victoria Foote Cummings. He was born in Nephi, Juab County, Utah, and moved to Millville as a child. In November 1878, he married Francis Cecelia Weaver, who was born February 19, 1858, at Provo, Utah, to Franklin and Rachel Read Weaver. They made their home in Millville. They were the parents of: Francis Louisa (Joseph A. Jessop), George Timothy (Lilliath Ethel Jessop), Kate Maud (Alpha John Trolson), Lois Amanda, Elmina, Frank (Blanch Olson, Lucille Egan).
