The funeral of Mrs. I. S. Phillips, 34, of Baskin, who died Thursday afternoon at a Monroe hospital, was held Friday afternoon at 2 o'clock at the Coax Baptist church, near Baskin, with Reverend Keyes, pastor of the Baskin Baptist church, officiating. Interment took place in the Coax cemetery.
Surviving Mrs. Phillips are the widower; two children, Henry, 16, and Maxine; her parents, Mr. and Mrs. N. E. Chatham of Rayville; and two brothers, H. M. Chatham of Monroe and Weyland Chatham of Alexandria.
