Branson - Services for Charles A. Bowers, 74, Branson, will be at 2 PM Wednesday in Whelchel Chapel with the Rev. Richard Claar officiating. Burial will be in Ozarks Memorial Park Cemetery. Mr. Bowers died at 6:37 AM Monday in Skaggs Community Hospital after a long illness. He was a retired land developer and real estate broker. He was a member of Branson Bible Church, Almalika Shrine and Scottish Rite in Fort Scott, KS, and the Sunflower Masonic Lodge, Wichita, KS. Survivors include his wife, Adelaide; a son Charlie A. Jr., Branson; a daughter, Mrs. Susan Smith, Cullacan, NM; and three grandchildren. The family will be in the funeral home from 7 to 8 tonight. Memorial contributions may be made to Skaggs Community Hospital.
