Funeral services for Harrell E. Basenberg, 81, of Hanceville, are scheduled for Thursday, Oct. 5, 2006, at 2 p.m. Christ Lutheran Church, with Pastor Donald Strandlund officiating. Burial will follow at Hopewell Cemetery.
Moss-Service Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Basenberg died Tuesday, Oct. 3, at Cullman Regional Medical Center.
He was preceded in death by his parents, W.M. and Louise Schafer Basenberg, brothers Carl and Clifford Basenberg, and sister Irene Trucks.
Survivors include his wife, Louise Basenberg; three daughters, Deborah (Terry) Sanders, Sandra (Terry) Doty and Donna (Tim) Laney; sister Willie Mae Murrell, six grandchildren, Shane Sanders, Wade Sanders, Kaci Fowler, Kyle Doty, Talisha Laney and Kaitlin Laney; and five great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held Wednesday, Oct. 4, from 6 until 9 p.m.
