Obituary: Holly-Gale Morrison Jensen
1922 ~ 2003
SIGURD, UTAH - Holly-Gale Morrison Jensen, 81, passed away August 3, 2003, in Richfield, Utah.
She was born July 5, 1922, in Monroe, Utah, to Lionel "Mack" and LaNora Hallows Morrison. She married Harold "Buss" Jensen, January 24, 1943. The marriage was solemnized in the Manti LDS Temple, October 7, 1947. He preceded her in death October 15, 2000.
She was a devoted member of the LDS Church and served in many positions throughout the years. She enjoyed her membership with DUP and was very proud of her heritage. During the later years of her life she belonged to the Richfield Culture Club where she also served as an officer. She worked with the public for many years having various jobs, one that gave her the most satisfaction was being the Deputy County Treasurer of Sevier County.
She is survived by her daughters, Gayle (Jerry) Sory, Sandy; Tracie Morrison, Salt Lake City; four grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; sister, Maxine (Lloyd) Curtis, Salt Lake City.
Preceded in death by her parents; husband, Buss; son, Harold Kay Jensen; two grandsons; one great-grandson; two brothers and two sisters.
Special thanks to granddaughter, Tammy Miller and friend Mary Lou Nugent for the special loving care they have given to Grandma since Grandpa's death. We would also like to thank the wonderful care givers at the Richfield Care Center for the care given in her final days.
Funeral services will be held Friday, August 8, 2003, at 1:00 p.m. in the Neal S. Magleby & Sons Mortuary Chapel, 50 S. 100 W. in Richfield, where friends may call on Thursday from 7 to 8 p.m. and again on Friday from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Burial will be in the Monroe City Cemetery. Funeral directors, Neal S. Magleby & Sons Mortuary, Richfield, UT.
