Coalport – Mrs. Margaret J. Bott, 68, of Lyleville, Coalport R.D., died at the Philipsburg State Hospital at 315 a.m. today. Born at Beaver Valley, Cambria County, Nov. 11, 1889, she was the daughter of Valentine and Jane (Gallaher) Good, both now deceased. Mrs. Bott was preceded in death by her husband, Pius Bott. She is survived by the following children: Thomas and Clarence Bott, both of Virginia; Mrs. Mabel Keith, Fallen Timber; Mrs. David Johns, Irvona; Mrs. Louis Samuels, Philadelphia; and Mrs. Raymond Wider, Ohio. Also surviving is one brother, Valentine Good. Friends will be received at the Chaplin Funeral Home, Coalport, after 7:30 p.m. tomorrow. Further funeral arrangements have not yet been completed. Coalport – Funeral services for Mrs. Margaret J. Bott of Lyleville, Coalport R.D., will be from the Coalport E.U.B. Church tomorrow at 2 p.m. with Rev. Carter of Glasgow officiating. Interment will follow in the Beaver Valley Cemetery, Flinton. Mrs. Bott, the widow of Pius Bott, died in the Philipsburg State Hospital at 3:10 a.m. yesterday at the age of 68. Friends are being received at the Chaplin Funeral Home, Coalport (The Progress, August 6, 1958)
